It's a hot, rainy day in New York City. To amuse myself, I glanced over the collections for Resort 2011. Most of the clothes are quite nice, if not exactly inspired, but I simply had to comment on one of the "new trends":
Cropped cardigans.
Seriously? Cropped cardigans? If I recall correctly, every item of clothing that can be cropped, has been cropped. If it reaches the waist, you're buying your clothes from Lands End. Even the most low-end catalogues feature cropped cardigans. The only difference your faithful correspondent can see is the richness of the materials.
