Visit My Shop To Help The Red Cross Help Haiti!
DAHLINGS -
One of the few vaguely decent aspects of (ugh) Ebay is that they have Giving Works. Through it, sellers can choose charities to donate a portion of the proceeds of their sales. I have always had several listings up devoted to the ASPCA.
Now, a percentage of almost all of my listings will be donated to the American Red Cross. Look for the blue and yellow ribbon in the title. The more you buy, the more the Red Cross will receive. In case you think this is self-serving, I have lowered prices on many choice pieces.
For instance, this beautiful vintage satin and lace wedding dress by Alfred Angelo, with a full Watteau back and long train, and an Empire waist. Price slashed to under $50.00!

Or this vintage tapestry coin purse in Mint condition:

If you're looking for something modern, here is a plus-size 1X Susan Graver Style black stretch dress, New With Tags:

For a sensationally low price, a beautiful full long gray satin skirt by Venezia, with a drawstring waist, to fit sizes 14 - 20:

And many vintage jewelry items, including this vintage faux pearl necklace with a flower-shaped clasp:

More items will be listed, all at more than reasonable prices! This is one way for you to help, and pick up some great bargains at the same time. So let's go shopping!

How To Help Relief Efforts In Haiti For Every Budget
DAHLINGS -
After the horrendous tragedy in Haiti, your faithful correspondent was forced to think Deep Thoughts (with the attendant blinding headaches). Before I return to my more comfortable shallowness, I wanted to share some organizations that are working in Haiti to provide relief and rescue. These are all reputable organizations that have been vetted by yours truly.
Doctors Without Borders
http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/
An inflatable hospital with operating theatres is expected to arrive in the next 24 hours.
The Red Cross
Everyone knows that when disaster hits, the Red Cross is there. People can donate by texting the word “Haiti” to 90999, which will donate $10 per call (it will show up on your cell phone bill) or by going online to http://www.redcross.org/
Artists For Peace And Justice
http://www.artistsforpeaceandjustice.com/
Any number of celebrity Twitter-folk have been asking people to donate to this organization, which is pledging that 100% of all contributions will go to Haitian relief. Actors James Franco, Olivia Wilde, and Diane Lane are among the members of the advisory board. This site accept credit cards.
Of course I have donated (to the last charity), and any and all donations of any size are needed. Please don't let "compassion fatigue" overwhelm you, since it's been three days. And we all know America's attention span is about five minutes.
Again, please donate. You'll sleep better at night, even if you're sleeping next to Daniel Baldwin.

Come See Me LIVE This Thursday, January 17!
DAHLINGS -
Yes, it's true, this very Thursday, January 17, I will be hosting the show at The Three Tomatoes comedy event at the Broadway Comedy Club in my beautiful hometown, New York City!
The evening runs from 6-9 pm, and there is food catered by the Carnegie Deli (a bit too rich for my delicate system, but I shall bring my own food). Not to mention goody bags, cocktails, famous comedians, and a silent auction.
But, all of that pales beside the fact that I will be there! In the creamy flesh! Even as we speak I am wearing a masque made from Dead Sea crystals to ready my skin for the lights of the stage. Not only THAT, I will be selling the absolute cream of my vintage accessories (fine jewelry, scarves, hats and gloves) for your delectation. Bear in mind, if I think it's good, it's phenomenal.
Not only that, the event is being produced and hosted by nationally known media celebrity Valerie Smaldone.

VIP tickets are almost entirely sold out, but you can buy a proletarian ticket (and remember, it's for a very good cause). Eat, drink, and be merry--and feast your eyes on moi!

See you there, mes amis!
