Battery life in 4.3 and 4.3.1 has been noticeably worse than in previous versions of ios. As measured by my iphone 3gs. Stock device, not jailbroken, not unlocked.

What's funny is that there is tons of money to be made in enterprise hardware, software, and support. The problem is that it requires two things - long term support and road maps. It is completely against Apple's culture to provide either of those, thus they will always be horrible in the enterprise.

I just want subscriptions on my iPad and the main point is, whether you agree or disagree with Apple's opt-in policy, this is still a major sticking point with many publications. Of all the magazine/newspaper apps I use on my iPad only 2 have adopted the new subscription policy. NYT was one of those but I deleted it because those prices were insane. I just want subscription options from Wired, Popular Mechanics and Sports Illustrated. I don't care about Apple's policy, I don't care if the publisher gets my info or not... I just want subscriptions!!!!!! I have stopped and will never pay another $5 per issue for anything on the iPad. Subscriptions or nothing!

I also work in a large engineering consulting firm that uses only Windows XP. I have been using my mac on my own for work for the last two years or so (Please no comments about using personal machines for work. I am aware). I would love to see some others be allowed to use Macs because I think they make sense for some jobs. It would not make sense for everyone to go to Macs because we have some windows-only software requirements.
I am interested to see what answers come. My major curiosity is how well the Macs integrate into an Active Directory domain. I don't want anyone in the company to be able to log into my personal machine, so I have not tried it yet.

I left carbon copy cloner running all night to make the bootable copy.
I was a little bit worried about leaving all night as I could not watch the temps. I guess I'm just a bit worried I may have screwed up the thermal paste. But no, it survived showing 52deg when I checked this morning.

The problem with .Me is all in your mind. No one really cares what the extension is, it just a means to an end. Short suffixes are must easier, whatever they are.
Of course it's in his mind, it is his opinion after all.
But there have been countless studies on how people are subconsciously influenced by almost everything they see. That's one of the reasons why marketing departments have work. And then we see different car models with different names for different countries.
And I would say that .me isn't a very good choice. It just doesn't mean squat. Given that they must call it something, better use some word that will send a message or advertise the platform.
