Old I-94 expiration date was January 3, 2010, and new I-94 started from October 18, 2010.
Ask your lawyer if you can get the I-94 corrected Nunc Pro Tunc.

I applied for my 485/AP/EAD last year. Got my AP and EAD.
Last week I applied for renewal of my EAD and AP. They sent back both of my applications saying they need a 485 reciept notice. I have attached an explanation saying I did not get my 485 reciept notice and I gave the reciept number. Also attached last years approved EAD stub and EAD reciept notice with the EAD application. I have attached last years AP reciept notice with AP application as proof of my 485 application.
I dont know why they could not check with my A# or SSN. Sometimes they are moody or Some of them are crazy.
I think your attoney/employer put their address on the 485 app and they should have it. Lot of insecure consulting companies(you know what I mean) do that and make us believe that our 485 reciept notice was lost in the mail.

I got name check information atlast today. Its cleared
Still waiting for GC Approval. God knows when it will get approved.

to be 'fair' FOX is better in the sense we know what we are getting but if u look at NPR, CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, they make us believe they are giving out a balanced view of the world but they all have a 'liberal' agenda, to understand the issues better you have to listen to both sides of the argument, by criticizing FOX over and over in this forum we are shutting down cone side of the argument, many commentators on FOX expressed their supporting of legal immigration,

I also think this is a good idea, 10 days will not make much difference. Please help other members people.... Who knows, if there are too many applications USCIS might decide to not move dates in the July Visa Bulletin.

Based on the information, it seems like the consulate is not convinced about the employment or the client letter was not sufficient to prove the employment. You might have to seek help from lawyer sheela murthy to find out what the US consular is looking for in a client letter.
I wouldn't suggest a visitor visa as it might signal other intentions. They probably are aware that you can apply change of status(I-539) from B2 to H4. Consult lawyer murthy and try the H4 once again.

Any my question is, my Priority date is June 2004. What happens after the I140 approval? Will they have to apply another i485? or use existing i485? if yes, how do they communicate to USICS to convert the old i485 from Eb3 to Eb2?

Keep checking the dates. As mentioned in the earlier post, dates were opening just before two weeks. I would not recommend taking emergency appointment unless it is a true emergency.

I would like to know, can I get my H-1B at 6.0 year of my H-4 with my spouse�s approved I-140 (affected by EB-3 retrogression)?

The USCIS accepted that response and my case has resumed processing. So if I were you, I would have no problem taking the Engineering Manager title.
This doesn't mean much. The case is still being processed and is not a sign to rejoice or consider that your AC21 request has been accepted. The title isn't a big deal but the job description on labor and new job has to be same or similar.
I would be wary of your switch from a developer to a Manager and that qualifying for a AC21 under same/similar.
Where I work, what a developer does is significantly different than what an Architect or a manager does.

Yahoooooooooooooo......We (Me and my wife) received welcome notice today . Our 485 is approved on 25 th March.
no updates online just received postal mail from USCIS today .
I guess end of long wait , been in country from 2001 .
I wish you all the best and hang in there if your PD is current you can expect the notice any time so keep checking your postal mail box .
FYI - I dont know if my back ground check is clear or not , I guess it is .

if you are foreign national selling a house, 10 % of your sale price may be held in escrow account till you pay the taxes. This is the case in atleast some states. This is what your real estate lawyer might be referring to. The rest 10 % is released after you have shown proof that you have paid your taxes.
